I was born on May 24, 1969 in Antalya, the beautiful city of Turkey. After graduating from Izmir Aliağa Atatürk Primary School in 1980 and Izmir Bornova Anatolian High School in 1987, I entered Ege University Faculty of Medicine. I graduated as a Medical Doctor in 1993.

In the same year, I started my specialization training in the Department of Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Uludağ University Hospital. During my education, I received a scholarship from the Swedish Institute and worked at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Uppsala University Hospital for two months in 1998.
